Young readers are being encouraged to unleash their creativity through the annual Book Week competition.
Participants can choose between two formats: crafting a captivating short story or illustrating a vivid picture
The challenge is to imagine you are given a magical seed.
- How will you care for this magical seed?
- What will it grow into?
- What does your seed look like?
- How long will it take to grow?
This opportunity is open to all primary and secondary students, with no entry fee.
Each student may submit one entry per format, allowing them to showcase their imagination and storytelling prowess.
The competition is on now and will close on the last day of Book Week - Friday, August 25.
Entry forms are available at any of the Kempsey Shire Libraries branches - including Kempsey, South West Rocks and Stuarts Point.
Once completed, don't forget to return your entry to a library branch.
