Qantas no longer makes the top 10 for cleanest airline and top cabin staff and lost the title of top airline in the Asia Pacific region to Fiji Airways.
Qantas lands at number 13 for world's best economy class and business class.
"This survey started nine months ago when it was clear our service wasn't back to our best," a Qantas spokesperson said.
"A lot has changed since and if you ran this survey today, the results would be very different. We've worked hard to improve and the feedback from customers shows we are."
Singapore Airlines topped the rankings followed by Qatar Airways.
Singapore Airlines chief executive officer Goh Choon Phong said the airline had emerged "stronger and fitter from the pandemic as a leading international airline".
"We are very grateful to our customers for their enduring loyalty to and affection for Singapore Airlines. During the pandemic, their support and encouragement gave us the strength and determination to overcome the unprecedented challenges," he said.
Singapore Airlines dominated the First Class travel awards, winning the awards for the World's Best First Class, the World's Best First Class Seat, the World's Best First Class Comfort Amenities and took top position as the Best Airline in Asia.
Customers have expressed frustration with the national airline after reports of mass cancellations and problems with baggage and delays, with Roy Morgan reporting in February that Qantas had fallen to the 40th most trusted brand in Australia, down 31 places from the previous quarter.
A Qantas flight from Auckland issued a mayday call in January after engine issues were reported mid-flight.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards is an annual passenger satisfaction survey of over 325 airlines with customers from over 100 countries taking part.
Other Australian airlines were further down the award rankings, with Virgin Australia at No.46, Rex at No.56 and Jetstar at No.69.
Qantas has been the most punctual major domestic airline for the past nine months in a row.
