The federal government has announced the appointment of four members to the NADC board including music icon John Foreman OAM as chair.

Mr Foreman shot to fame on Good Morning Australia alongside Bert Newton before signing on as musical director on Australian Idol.
He has been the creative director for Australia Day in Sydney since 2015.
Other appointments to the NADC board include CEO of the National Indigenous Australians Agency Ms Jody Broun as a director.
Ms Broun, a Yinjibarndi woman from the Pilbara, has more than 30 years' experience in the government and not-for-profit sectors.
Paediatric cardiologist Dr Bo Reményi has also been appointed as a director.

Dr Reményi was the 2018 Australian of the Year for the Northern Territory for her work on addressing rheumatic heart disease.
Ms Nikki Govan, who also chairs the Business SA board, the South Australian Chamber of Commerce and the Adelaide Economic Development Agency, has been reappointed as a director.
The National Australia Day Council (NADC) is a non-profit social enterprise responsible for coordinating the Australian of the Year awards and Australia Day.
The NADC board is tasked with inspiring national pride and promoting Australia Day through events, education and discussion.
