"People really like a personalised opinion, I'm always trawling for tips," the horror fan said.
Hailing from Queensland, Ms Bain's passion for film started at 11 when her mother took them to see Ben Stiller in 'There's something about Mary.'
She went on to study film at university and work at both Video Ezy and Blockbuster before launching her own one-minute film recommendations on Instagram and TikTok.
"It was the best training, I loved it and I still love it," she said of her time working in video stores.
Ms Bain urges viewers to watch at least 30 minutes of a film before switching it off, even bad films offer a chance to analyse and hone personal taste.
