Chair of the Anti-Defamation Commission, an Australian civil rights association, Dvir Abramovich, issued a statement in response to the comments.

The Commission is calling on Australian businesses to cut ties with West and denounce anti-semitism.
"It is now their moral obligation to demonstrate that profits will never come first and that at a time when verbal and physical anti-semitism is surging in Australia, in schools, at work, on the street and in the online world, they will never provide a shelter to such preachers of prejudice,"
"If these companies refuse to do the right thing and de-platform Kanye, their subscribers and customers will justifiably ask how they can truly claim to reject racism, incitement, and bigotry?," Dr Abramovich said.
