Known as "mad honey" or "deli bal" to the Turks, the honey is produced by bees from a specific rhododendron.
It is well established that this type of honey has a hallucinogenic effect.

Xenophon, the Greek philosopher wrote of the effect of "mad honey" on soldiers during an expedition in 401 BC.
"All the soldiers that ate of the combs lost their senses [...] none of them were able to stand upright," Xenophon wrote.
The juvenile female bear in the video was rescued near Duzce province in north-western Turkey.
Put into the back of a ute, in the video she can be seen wobbling, panting heavily, and whinging under the effect of the honey.
It's understood she's been taken to a vet and is in an otherwise healthy condition. She will be returned to the wild in the next week.
