Sunday night is the first dinner party for the latest eight couples who are searching for a career boost as Instagram influencers, ahem, I mean true love.
From the teaser we can expect accusations of being "fake" and "a tyrant" to incite heated exchanges and even a shoey. That's drinking alcohol from a shoe, for those uneducated about modern beverage consumption. Yes, MAFS maintains all the class we've come to expect from the reality TV hit.
HARD QUIZ
Wednesday, 8pm, ABC1
THE torture of watching TV game shows like Millionaire Hot Seat is wading through host Eddie McGuire's time-filling chats with contestants.
Who seriously cares what Jane from Ballarat does for a living or what she studies at uni? Get to the questions Eddie.
In complete contrast, what makes Hard Quiz such an enjoyable romp is host Tom Gleeson's cheeky banter with his colourful list of contestants. The questions have become secondary to the eccentric and obscure interests the contestants bring to the show.
This week Gleeson has hard questions on revolutionary Leon Trotsky, film franchise The Fast and the Furious, bananas, and the sun.
RUGBY LEAGUE
Saturday, 7.30pm, Nine
THE footy's back. It might not be the NRL, but the traditional pre-season fixture between the Australian Indigenous All-Stars and Maori All-Stars should whet the appetite of rugby league fans who have been suffering withdrawals since the grand final in October.
The likes of Dylan Walker, James Fisher-Harris, Kevin Procter and Kenny Bromwich will be in action for the Maori All-Stars, while the Indigenous All-Stars will be represented by Josh Addo-Carr, Alex Johnston, Andrew Fifita and Nicho Hynes.
A-LEAGUES MEN
Saturday, 7pm, 10
The Omicron variant arrived at the worst possible time for Network 10 and their streaming offshoot Paramount+ as they launched their first season as the A-Leagues' broadcast partner.
A host of postponed games over the holiday period, as teams succumbed to the virus, failed to produce the kick Australian soccer so desperately needed. However on the flipside, it's gifted a feast of A-League games in February between the cricket and NRL and AFL seasons.
Starting on Friday, 10 and Paramount+ will broadcast 16 A-League Men's games in eight days, including a free-to-air cracker on Saturday between Sydney FC and Western United.

This week Courteney Cox, Taron Egerton, Minnie Driver and Uma Thurman warm the couch on the light-hearted talkfest.
