The organisation, like many others, felt the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic which meant the closure of the YP Space Drop-in hub in West Kempsey.
The hub was re-opened on Tuesday and will now be accessible to young people two days per week.
The space will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 6pm and will be run by YP Space Youth Inclusion Plus team members Deb Tougher and Ramona Marsters.
"The centre will be a place for youth to drop-in and access our services and we'll also be running programs in the centre," Deb said.
The drop-in hub will also provide computer access for young people, giving them a chance to connect further with services in the area.
"The programs will be about connecting young people with the community and providing a safe space that meets their needs," Ramona said.
"We're looking at having a range of flexible programs to equip young people with the skills they need."
The drop-in centre was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions for around 12 months. YP Space CEO Caleb Rose said it's important for the centre to be up and running again.
"We're very excited to be able to re-open the centre and we invite any other organisations to work with us to create opportunities for young people," he said.
The re-opening launch also showcased the new mural by local artist Jason Ridgeway at the drop-in centre in West Kempsey.
The YP Space Drop-in centre at 16 Elbow Street is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 6pm. For more information call the YP Space Kempsey Office on 6563 1230 or drop by the centre during opening hours.
