Cooper Petterson and Jack Wakely, both Premier League players for Rovers and Nulla first grader Beau Mainey represented the under 16s North Coastal team at the Bradman Cup in Tamworth in early January.
The competition was three rounds starting on January 4 and ending January 6.
North Coast played in the Northern Pool winning all three of their games against Newcastle, Central Coast and Central Northern.
The first round against Newcastle saw North Coast make light-work of their opposition, bowling them out for 91 and chasing down the total four wickets down.
Petterson had figures of 1/17 off 6.4 overs while Mainey scored 13 at the top of the order and Wakely hit a run a ball 20 at second drop.
The Duckworth-Lewis system was brought out for round two with Central Northern posting 8/166 off 47 overs before the target was revised to 151 off 40 overs due to rain.
The run chase for North Coast went down to the wire with the boys reaching the tally at 8/152 off 39.1 overs.
Wakely top scored with 31 off 59 balls in a 63 minute stay.
The third round saw North Coast bat first against Central Coast with Mainey (12) opening the batting again.
Petterson proved to be an asset at the tail-end of the order, hitting 37 runs to be the second top-scorer for his side as they finished with 172 off 45.5 overs.
Central Coast were then bowled out for 162 off 48.1 overs with Petterson opening the bowling and finishing with the economical figures of 0/13 off 5 overs.
The McDonald's Country colts team also had Rovers Premier League representatives with Mitch Korn wicket-keeping and Harrison Nemme opening the bowling.
Former Rover and St Paul's student Lachlan Dowling was also apart of the colts side.
North Coast finished third with one win from their three rounds.
Dowling hit 25 runs off 19 balls in their second round T/20 win over Central Northern.
Both Cooper Petterson and Dowling were selected for the u'17s Cricket NSW State Challenge which was meant to go ahead next week in Dubbo.
However, the tournament was cancelled due to the changes in NSW Government recommendations regarding non-essential travel across regional NSW.
Rovers Thomas Powick was also selected for the 14s side.
