Kempsey Show Society were looking forward to providing the Macleay Valley with an enjoyable and social event for a community who have been through so much in the last 12 months due to the drought and bush-fires.

As they say 'the show will go on' and the parent body of many show societies in NSW, the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW, has announced a campaign to display the close-knit solidarity of the show network across the country.
The 2020 shows may have been cancelled, but they are still here and busily preparing for their 2021 shows.
From this, Kevin the No Show Scarecrow has been designed to generate awareness and support for the Kempsey Show.
Kevin was crafted by students from Aldavilla Primary School and will make his way through various Macleay Valley businesses.
Kevin is at Coastline's West Kempsey store from tomorrow where he'll spend a week.
He'll then move onto Norco West Kempsey before finishing at Coastline's Crescent Head agency.
