Saturday saw the Macleay Netball Association hold their first Michelle McKean-Larkins Memorial Fundraiser at the Pam Guyer Netball Centre with donations received going towards Asthma Australia.

The MNA held a minutes silence at 1pm during the weekend's fixtures in memory of Michelle.
Players were encouraged to wear purple ribbons, socks, hairspray or anything else purple as part of Asthma Week that ran from September 1 to September 7.
The day saw the association raise $362.41 from generous donations which was donated on all participants behalf to Asthma Australia.
"The MNA and Saints Comets Netball Club is so grateful and appreciative of everyone's efforts and support for this great cause in honor of Michelle," MNA publicity officer Sonya Murphy said.
"We look forward to holding it and everyone supporting it again next year and raising more funds for Asthma Australia."
Week 9 of competition will see Div 1 and 1A teams playing in their elimination finals this week.
The Div 1 game is between SWR Corals and SC Hailey (4) whilst 1A will see Nat. Force play against Nat. Cyclone.
The Winners of these games will advance to their divisions Grand Final next Saturday Sept 19.
SWR Sandstorm (1A) & Crescent Head Vipers (1) have already advanced into their grand finals.
