Dubbed 'Virus' by its creators Rob and Allison, the new construction is said to be a result of an active imagination and boredom during lockdown.
"During the middle of the lockdown, I had a fallen tree to move, and I was looking at it thinking there might be something here," Rob said.
"So with a little bit of imagination and a chainsaw, Virus was born, my wife made the clothes out of an old tent and we put him out by our gate."
Despite only being a few months old, Virus has already gained a great deal of attention from both locals and tourists alike.
"We put signs on him, he's already had Happy Easter, Lest We Forget, people seem to like him, so I'd say he will stick around for a while," Rob said.
"His photo has already gone halfway around the world; he's become a bit of a talking point, we've had heaps of car stopping to take pictures."
Virus currently stands alone out the front of Rob and Allison's house; however, he may not be alone forever, depending on if we head back into lockdown.
"If we have to go into lockdown again, and I get bored enough, I might make him a wife and name her COVID," Rob said.
"Maybe I'll make him some brothers and sisters, I'll see how I go."
