There was another good field of 111 players for the 18 Hole Medley Single Stableford event and with visitors from Crescent Head, Frederickton, South West Rocks, Nambucca Heads, Emerald Downs, Wauchope, Massey Park, Tamworth and The Ridge Golf Club, the players on the day enjoyed their exercise out on the course.
Taking out victory in the top grade on the day was Sandy Abigail with a very good score of 41 points.
Playing again in one of the last groups of the day Robert Baker picked up the runner up spot with his round of 39 points.
The very consistent play of Chris Gorman proved to good for the 'B' graders on Saturday after he recorded a round of 43 points for the victory.
A runner up spot in the 'B' grade on Saturday saw David Munday very happy after his round of 40 points.
With a round of 40 points Jeremy Lipscombe was awarded the 'C' grade winners voucher on Saturday and with a score of 38 points Austin Northey was the runner up.
The ball winners on the day were players with a score of 35 points or better and they along with all the vouchers from the day can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime.
All players will be checking their handicaps before hitting off this week.
Tomorrow at the Kempsey Golf Club the members and visitors will hit off in the 18 Hole Medley Single Stableford event and all intending players wishing to play can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round.
All players are reminded to read the local rules board before hitting off due to the special rules for COVID19 and please remember to avoid slow play at all times.
Don't forget the club is staging events on Thursday and Tuesday now with all players booking in for both events.
