The Crescent Head Country Club's joint project with other local businesses to deliver goods to vulnerable people's homes has proven to be a big success.

The coordinated effort by club staff and local businesses allows people to place and pay for an order over the phone, with the club's staff volunteering to deliver the order the following day.
The orders are placed in a bag or box at the front door step so there is no interaction for locals who are in the high-risk category of contracting COVID-19.
The delivery service has been running for just over one week and Colan Ryan from Crescent Head Country Club said it has been very successful.
"The volunteers have been really great. We've had deliveries every day since we started," he said.
"People are over the moon about it. All of the responses have been positive."
The other businesses involved in the coordinated effort are:

Locals are able to place orders with these businesses over the phone and it will be delivered the following day between 9am and 11am.
"The club is in it for the long-haul and we will be doing the deliveries for as long as it's needed," Colan said.
"If this isn't over in six months, then we'll still be here doing the deliveries in six months.
"I just want to thank all of the club staff and director who are volunteering to do the deliveries. We're just all happy to help."
