Just after 8.30am, two Westpac Rescue Helicopters were dispatched to the region due to the nature and seriousness of the accident.
NSW Paramedics and Helicopter Critical Care Medical Teams treated and stabalised a 51-year-old man and a 41-year-old man with multiple injuries.
Both men were flown to the John Hunter Hospital for further specialist treatment.
Both patients were trapped after the high speed accident and were released by rescue teams on scene.
