A man has died while scuba diving at South West Rocks yesterday.

About 2pm on Wednesday December 4, emergency services were called to Matty's Flat boat ramp, New Entrance Road, South West Rocks, following reports a man had been pulled unresponsive from the water while scuba diving off the coast at Fish Rock.
Dive instructors conducted CPR on the 65-year-old until paramedics arrived, however he died at the scene.
Detectives from Mid North Coast Police District attended and commenced inquiries.
SafeWork NSW were notified and also attended the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been launched.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
