The animals include 286 dogs, 54 cats, 106 horses, 100 cattle, 162 birds and 11 other animals including an alpaca, goat, guinea pig, rabbit and pig.
The animals have been cared for and fed by their owners at the evacuation centre as well as North Coast Local Land Services.
With donations of animal beds, food and toy donations flowing in from the community, the much loved pets have been well looked after.
Although the fire threat has eased somewhat over the past few days, Local Land Services is urging residents to have a plan to manage livestock and pets in the event of a bushfire.
"Being prepared for a bushfire can help landholders protect themselves, their livestock and their property," Local Land Services Emergency Coordinator Piers Harper said.
"If a landholder has to leave quickly, they will need to leave their livestock in the safest paddock on the property."
Animals registered at the evacuation centre will remain until it's safe for them to return home.
