There are reports structures have been destroyed this afternoon as the Carrai East fire continues to spread east from Willawarrin towards Kempsey.
The out of control blaze, which is at an emergency level, is spreading quickly and has travelled around 7km east since breaking containment lines at 1.30pm.
RFS public liaison officer Dave Nicholson told the Argus the extent of the damage won't be known until impact analysis has been conducted.
"At this stage, we can't confirm if any homes have been destroyed," Mr Nicholson said.
Earlier:
"We have had reports of structures being destroyed but that could mean a shed, a caravan or something similar but as far as residential dwellings are concerned, we don't have any information."
The fire is spreading in a south-easterly direction along Willi Willi Rd, Deep Creek, Collombatti and Gearys Flat.

The fire has also joined with two adjacent fires in some areas, but they haven't met on the fire front.
"The Carrai East fire has joined with the Carrai Creek fire to its west and the Stockyard East fire to the south," Mr Nicholson said.
The Carrai Creek and Stockyard East fires are also at an emergency level.
As darkness approaches, Mr Nicholson said the RFS crews task becomes more difficult to protect residents.
"It's harder to locate people who are still in their household and attempting to rescue houses where people should have left earlier puts the crews at risk," he said.
"Residents need to remain vigilant and seek shelter if fire approaches.
"If residents believe their life is at risk then they should call (Triple Zero) 000 immediately."
Properties to the west of Kempsey should prepare to come under threat tonight.
"There are significant winds blowing the fire east and it is moving quite quickly," Mr Nicholson said.
"The north-west edges of Kempsey may experience the fire front and the town centre will likely have embers fall but at this stage we don't think the fire front will reach the town."
A southerly changed is expected close to midnight and this will pose a new threat for firefighters.
