The Kempsey Swim Club proudly presented the James Magnussen 'How to swim freestyle faster clinic' for its club members at the Kempsey Olympic Pool on Sunday October 20.

The day was a great success and the Kempsey Swim Club champions of the present and the future were treated to a wealth of information from the former World Champion and Olympic Medal winner James Magnussen, alongside his former coach and friend Lach Falvey.
James talked about how he managed to rise from his humble beginnings in Port Macquarie, through to being the fastest swimmer in the world.
The Kempsey Swim Club members learned about the key factors for swimming including kicking, breathing, tumble turning and diving while swimming with James.
James also taught stretching, commitment, nutrition and handling nerves when in competition.
James stayed and posed for photos, answered questions and signed autographs. It was great day for all involved.
Kempsey Swim Club hold their club nights on Tuesday's at 6pm. All are welcome. New membership registrations open now so just come along.
