A brace from Macleay Valley Rangers striker Andrew Potter has secured an extra-time 2-1 victory over Wallis Lake in the reserve grade grand final on Saturday.

The Rangers were forced to do it the hard way, as they conceded the opening goal in the first 15-minutes.
In a match of limited opportunities, the Rangers levelled the scores late in the second half before Potter gave the Rangers their first lead of the game with under five minutes left in extra-time.
Rangers reserve grade coach Steve Morn was thrilled for his players.
"It was an awesome feeling," Morn said.
"It was a totally different feeling being a coach as to when I was a player. I was so relieved for the boys, they had worked so hard all season and they deserved to win."
Morn said the game was a tight contest with the majority of the play remaining in the middle third of the field.
"Neither side created many chances, it was a bit of a midfield battle," he said.
"They opened the scoring after making a break down the right hand side and they cut it back to their striker who finished nicely.
"After that they sort of sat back a lot deeper."
Potter's first goal came with time running out in regulation. Sean Brucesmith made a run down the right edge and fired in a shot which the keeper saved but he could only push it to the feet of Potter.
The experienced striker calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net to level the scores.
In the first half of extra-time, defender Mitch Korn produced a miraculous goal line save, as the ball had beat the keeper but Korn was there to clear the ball to safety.
Potter's heroic winner began with his determination to defend from the front.
Potter, who was named man of the match, stole the ball from a Wallis defender near the halfway line and showcased his speed to pull away from the defenders before he beat the keeper in a one-on-one situation.
"Andrew deserved the player of the match but it could have easily gone to any of our defenders," Morn said.
"Mitch and James Thurlow were terrific at the back and made sure they didn't have many opportunities."
Wallis Lake had finished the regular season as minor premiers.
