The goal shooter has signed a one-year deal with the a player option in her favour to extend to two years, if she opts in.
After a dominant first season, which saw Commane receive three out of the club's four end of season awards; the Fan's Player, Players' Player and Coaches Award, Team Bath were quick to express interest in the 31-year-old's return.
It was an "easy decision" for Commane, who alongside husband Jarrett, loved the Bath lifestyle, competing with her teammates and the opportunity to spend more time travelling Europe was an added bonus.
"There's still unfinished business to attend to with Team Bath," Commane told the Argus.
"To get so close to a grand final and to miss out is quite disappointing so I want to go back and make that happen.
"It's also a good opportunity to enjoy a different lifestyle on the other side of the world. My husband loves it there and we will try and do as much travelling as we can.
"I have received a car sponsorship with Mazda so I will be able to get around and explore a bit more."
While Commane has enjoyed three months back on home soil, she has continued to remain in peak shape as she has been training three times a week and working hard in the gym.
The attacker is hoping to play in the Fast Five tournament for Team Bath next month before another break ahead of pre-season in the lead up to week one of the season in February.
Commane's focus is on obtaining redemption.
"We will have a few new players this year so hopefully we can gel quickly and cement ourselves in a spot near the top of the ladder," she said.
"The goal is to make a grand final and then win the premiership."
Commane is currently on her way back to England.
