The team of Year 5 and 6 students advanced through two carnivals and will head to Sydney on September 19 to face the best sides from NSW.
The side defeated Forster Primary School six tries to two and Frank Partridge VC Public School four tries to two at the North Coast Finals Day.
Crescent Head Public School teacher and rugby league coach Nathan Edwards said the girls have a strong love for the game and are eager to learn.
"They have all grown up playing netball together and have strong friendships," Edwards said.
"But over the last few years they have started to love playing rugby league and especially tackle. They rip in, tackle hard, work hard and enjoy getting the bumps and bruises.
"They play touch footy together at lunch and when we are training they listen intently and are happy to learn."
Edwards said the team will be more prepared as they head to the state competition for the second straight year.
"We didn't know what to expect when we went last year and there were a couple of hard lessons we had to learn," he said.
"There's a few girls who were there last year and they are excited at the chance to play at the high level once again."
The rugby league competition is seven-a-side and there's 11 players in the Crescent Head squad.
