The gate - $20,011 - is believed to be the biggest in a decade.
"I think it's the best we've had since 2009,'' Group Three chairman Wayne Bridge said.
Takings were up considerably on the last four years when matches were played at the Regional Stadium at Port Macquarie.

Last year's gate was $16,938, with $17,050 the previous year. The admission price has stayed the same.
Five clubs were represented on grand final day this year, with the games played in perfect weather.
Mr Bridge said the crowd was well behaved and there were no major incidents.
"There is a problem with delays getting in and out of the ground, but there's nothing we can do about that,'' he said.
