At 8.30am today, police from the Mid North Coast Highway Patrol were conducting stationary random breath testing on Lord St, East Kempsey.
They stopped a black Nissan Navara utility and the driver was allegedly unable to produce a current NSW driver's licence.
Further inquiries revealed the man's licence was disqualified for life in 2000.
The 49-year-old man was arrested and taken to Kempsey Police Station and charged with drive whilst disqualified - subsequent offence.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear before Kempsey Local Court on Monday August 26.
