Several workers have been injured and one has been transported to hospital in a critical condition after an industrial accident at a factory in Kempsey yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Six ambulances arrived to find three workers with serious injuries ranging from hand and wrist lacerations to more serious leg and back injuries after approximately one tonne of glass fell on them at a glass and aluminium supplier in South Kempsey.
Ambulance crews transported two patients to Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a 26-year-old man from Port Macquarie Hospital to John Hunter Hospital suffering pelvic injuries and multiple lacerations.
