A man will face court today (August 6) charged with murder following an alleged stabbing near Kempsey.

About 9.15pm on Friday, August 3, police and emergency services responded to reports a man had been stabbed at a property on Pipers Creek Road, Dondingalong.
On arrival, NSW Ambulance paramedics declared the 54-year-old man deceased.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.
Shortly after, emergency services were called to a single vehicle crash on Pipers Creek Road.
The driver and sole occupant - a 40-year-old man - was removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was released from hospital on Monday, August 5, and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station, where he was charged with murder.
He has been refused bail to appear at Kempsey Local Court later today.
Inquiries are continuing.
