Partners in Crime showcases a number of famous dynamic duos everyone will recognise including Sonny and Cher, Patsy and Eddie, The Blues Brothers, Dolly and Kenny and Shrek and Fiona, just to name a few.
"The storyline of the show is that we've been charged with impersonating celebrities and so while we're in jail we put on a concert for the other inmates by showcasing our impersonations," Rhonda said.
"We cover so many hit songs by famous duos. But it's not your typical duet show, we perform the male parts as well as female which is vocally challenging for both Lara and myself."
The show features renditions of familiar hits like Jailhouse Rock, Shake Your Tail Feather, Rehab, I got You Babe, Islands in the Stream, This is the Greatest Show, Stand by Your Man plus many more.
"Lara and I have been friends since we were in the original Mamma Mia in 2001 so we do have that chemistry on stage.
"Because we laugh at each other, the audience laughs along with us as well."
Balancing a large number of characters between two performers means there are a lot of quick costume changes during the show.
"There's around 15 costume changes which we do in front of the audience in 30 seconds. It's the most challenging show I've ever done, it's very ambitions."
The show will debut at the South West Rocks Country Club on Friday August 9 at 7.30pm.
"We're thrilled to be debuting the show in South West Rocks in August, it will be a great place to start our tour," Rhonda said.
"My passion is stage shows like this one, there is still that hunger among people to see live entertainment and I hope Partners in Crime will show people how great, funny and entertaining live productions can be."
