Students and staff from St Joseph's Primary School celebrated Naidoc Week today by creating a human Australian Aboriginal Flag.

The students donned red, yellow and black shirts to create the flag on the school oval.
"We wanted to highlight indigenous culture this week and get the kids involved to further their understanding of Naidoc Week," teacher from St Joseph's Primary School, Adam Clay said.
"We want all of the students to celebrate Indigenous culture and for it to be an inclusive event."
The students have participated in a number of Naidoc activities this week including an art competition, cultural activities and creating the human flag.
"There's been a few small activities throughout the week, but all of it comes together for the bigger picture."
Principal Melissa Turner said the week encouraged students to be more inclusive and culturally aware.
"We wanted to highlight what community means and show the children how important reconciliation and Naidoc Week is," she said.
The students have enjoyed getting involved this week and had some fun creating the human flag.
"They've really got behind it this week and have had a lot of fun learning about and celebrating Naidoc Week," Mr Clay said.
