Rylah Hopper-Buckland has been selected as the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club's Sportsperson of the Month for May.

The seven-year-old picked up four victories at the Winter Speedo Sprint Series held at Crescent Head.
Rylah demonstrated his talent across all strokes, winning in the freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke.
The Crescent Head Primary School student also won sub junior age champion for the Crescent Head Pointers Swimming Club.
For his selection as Sportsperson of the Month, Rylah received a $100 voucher for the RSL's restaurant.

A sportsperson of the year will be decided upon in January 2020 with an additional voucher of $500 for the restaurant awarded to the winner.
A panel of judges from the Macleay Argus will determine the monthly and year winners of the award.
