The South West Rocks product rolled his ankle in the tournament opener and was forced to miss the next three games in the lead up to the final.
However, Triston proved his fitness in the captain's run and Australian coach Jason Gilmore reinstated the flyer onto the right wing for Australia.

The annual Under-20s World Cup, which began in 2008, has never been won by Australia and Sunday marked only the second time the green and gold have reached the decider.
France have won the tournament the past two years.
