Kempsey and Crescent Head have already been drenched today, and according to Weatherzone, we can expect up to 5-10mm throughout the day. Tomorrow will bring more wet weather with another 5-10mm of rain forecast to fall.
Wednesday is forecast to bring at least 1-5mm, and Thursday continues the trend with more showers and 1-5mm. Friday might have the sun make an appearance, and with less than 1mm expected, that could be the end of the rain for the week.
The weekend has only a possible shower for Saturday, and Sunday is forecast to be mostly sunny with only a 40 per cent chance of less than 1mm of rain.
Over in South West Rocks, there are showers for today and tomorrow with 5-10mm expected to fall.
Wednesday and Thursday might be the last of the wet weather for South West Rocks as well, with possible showers and 1-5mm expected. Friday has a slight chance of showers, and a sunny forecast for later in the day. The weekend has a possible shower for Saturday. Sunday will start foggy and then turn into a sunny winters day with a top of 22 degrees.
The month is nearly over, and so far the wettest day has been June 9 with 3.4 mm. Even with this weeks rain, June has only reached a total of 9.6mm. The wettest June on record was in 2014, with 401.4mm of rain, while the driest was 2001 which had 2.8mm of rainfall for the month.
South West Rocks residents have received a bucketing in comparison with a total of 38.4 this month. The wettest on record for the Smoky Cape Region was 2011 with 573.2mm, and the driest was in 1946 with 5.6mm.
