Locals Angelique Hand and Isabelle Caparano have come away from the Coffs Harbour Eisteddfod with a number of awards.

Angelique and Isabelle, both 14, are members of the Kempsey District Silver Band and are passionate about music.
"They were up against people who are in 5th grade and up and Angelique has only been playing the clarinet for two years," Angelique's mother Juacynta Hand said.
"They did really well and to come away with awards is a really great achievement."
Isabelle came away with age champion for 14 years and under, she was also awarded a first, second, third and two highly commended while Angelique was awarded a third and two highly commended awards.
Angelique will also be competing in the vocals section at the eisteddfod.
"Both girls have done really well," Ms Hand said.
"It's great preperation for them for the Kempsey Eisteddfod at the end of June."
