Shae-ala, 14, has qualified for seven events in the NSW Combined High Schools Swimming Championships being held at the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) from April 8 to 10.
It is an amazing achievement to qualify for so many events at State level.
Over the three days, she will be representing Melville High School (MHS) in the Open 800m Freestyle, 15yrs 100m Backstroke, 200m Freestyle, 400m Individual Medley, 100m Breaststroke and the 400m Freestyle.
Shae-ala is also extremely excited to have fellow students join her for the 16yrs 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay.
"It's going to be great representing MHS with friends also," Shae-ala said.
"It was really exciting to swim together at the North Coast Trials.
"I am feeling really happy with my training program coming into this week and hope to have good swims."
Other MHS Freestyle Relay team members are Serenity Clancy, Sarah Buls and Ella Laverty.

Shae-ala's little cousin Frankie, 10, has qualified for two events in the NSW Primary Schools Sport Association Swimming Championships, also being held at SOPAC on April 11 and 12.
This will be Frankie's first time representing Crescent Head Public School at state level.
This is a worthy reward for her strong commitment to her training this year and a wonderful achievement from a small Regional Area.
"On the Thursday I have the 50m Breaststroke and Friday is the 50m Back," Frankie said.
"I can't wait to swim there again. I feel really proud and excited."
The cousins have been training well at Crescent Aquatic Centre, sharing early morning and late afternoon sessions. They are both passionate about the sport and are really supportive of one another.
