The surveys are open on council's community engagement website, Your Say Macleay, and will measure visitor satisfaction and business confidence.
Council's economic development and tourism coordinator, Marilyn Breen, encouraged businesses and visitors to complete the short survey and share feedback and ideas to guide local economic development and tourism projects.
"The data from the Macleay Valley Business Confidence Survey will assist council to better understand the needs and aspirations of our local business community and help prioritise activities to stimulate economic growth," Ms Breen said.
"Ultimately, we are seeking views on council's role in helping to make it easier to do business in the Macleay Valley."
The Macleay Valley Coast Visitor Satisfaction Survey will test visitor perceptions of, and satisfaction with, their experiences visiting the Macleay Valley Coast.
"The responses will help guide council's efforts, and our tourist operators, to provide a better quality experience for our visitors," Ms Breen said.
The Visitor Satisfaction Survey is open until Sunday, May 12 and participants will be eligible to go into a prize draw for a night's accommodation at Big 4 Sunshine Resort at South West Rocks, dinner for two at The Full Circle Eatery and a Milo pack.
The Macleay Valley Business Confidence Survey is open until Tuesday, April 30.
