Kempsey's Tim Bull experienced the "biggest highlight so far" when he stepped onto the field to represent the Dunghutti community for the NSW Indigenous Under-16s team, which faced the Queensland Indigenous side, in the curtain raiser for the NRL trial match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the St George Illawarra Dragons on Saturday.

The five-eighth played a key role in the NSW side's flying start to the match as they notched an early 14-0 lead.
In arguably Tim's most vital moment in the contest, the playmaker attracted the attention of two Queensland players and fired a ball to the sweeping fullback, who laid it off to the centre to score an easy try.
Unfortunately, Queensland managed to dominate possession for a large part of the second half and they earned a 28-20 victory.
However, Tim did his best to motivate his team in the dying stages of the match.
"With two minutes left on the clock and at 8 points behind, Timmy’s defence was up in Queensland’s face, trying to force an error to get the ball," Tim's father Morris Bull said.
"I think it shows he has is a true leader at that level."
Despite being disappointed at the loss, the opportunity to represent his culture and pick up vital experience was the most important aspect to Tim.
"Being selected to play for the NSW Indigenous has been my biggest highlight so far," Tim said.
"I loved the experience, especially playing the curtain raiser for the NRL game.
"I want to thank everyone who helped with the NSW squad and congratulate Queensland again on the win."
The 15-year-old received his playing jersey from South Sydney Rabbitohs five-eighth and NRL Indigenous All-stars captain Cody walker prior to the match.
Tim will return to training with the North Coast Bulldogs ahead of their match against the Greater Northern Tigers this Saturday March 9.
