Two men were rescued after being caught in a rip on the western end of Horseshoe Bay, South West Rocks, on Sunday afternoon at approximately 3.30pm.

A 28-year-old Turkish national and a 27-year-old Chinese national were visiting for the weekend from Sydney.
After entering the water, a rip took the men north with the four metre swell smashing them back onto the headland.
Local surfers were the first responders to the men, paddling them around onto Back Beach.
Volunteer lifesavers from South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club were on hand to launch the IRB and transport the men to the waiting Ambulance at Back Creek.
One man was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for further treatment and has since been discharged.
South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club publicity officer Geoff Ball was glad to see everyone pulled from the water unharmed.
"This was a wonderful joint effort of community members who were able to save the lives of both men," Mr Ball said.
"Congratulations to all involved."
