It will be a reduced numbers contest; however, it is expected that there will still be prize money for the two divisions, albeit at a reduced amount.
On Wednesday the difficult decision was made to cancel the two divisions for the tournament this Saturday, but after an email exchange with the affected clubs, a compromise was found.

“As a club, we were gutted to have made that call as late as we did. However, we have spoken to most teams involved and are happy to move forward with the women's and juniors now playing their competition on Sunday. It will be a reduced numbers competition but a competition still, Cannonballs secretary Brad Taylor said in a Facebook statement.
“For those sides that cannot make it Sunday, we will be working with clubs in the coming days to sort out accommodation issues.
“The club has decided to refund the entry fees of all women's and junior teams that have entered.”
As a result of the reduced numbers, anybody who is eligible to play in the women’s and Under-17s competition is encouraged to get in touch with the organisers, even if they are not a player.
“We would love to hear from them so we can enter extra sides at zero cost to players and make the day even more enjoyable for those ladies and juniors playing,” secretary Brad Taylor said.
