A man has died and a woman has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash on the state’s Mid North Coast last night.

Police were told a Toyota Prado, travelling southbound on the Pacific Highway at Frederickton, near Kempsey, left the road and rolled several times, just before 11.40pm on Wednesday night.
The driver, a 34-year-old man, died at the scene.
The front-seat passenger, a 52-year-old woman, was trapped in the vehicle for a short period of time before being freed by emergency services.
She was taken to Port Macquarie Hospital with minor injuries.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will now be prepared for the Coroner.
