The Lower Macleay Magpies representative players who competed for Group Three in their clash with Group Two have missed out on selection into the North Coast Bulldogs women’s rugby league side.

Ellen Hetherington, Shawnee Potts, Megan Archibald and Tahlisa Daley-Button played at a high level in their side’s 14-6 defeat.
Following the game, prop forward Shawnee Potts claimed Megan Archibald and Tahlisa Daley-Button deserved selection into the prestigious Bulldogs representative side.
However, all four girls missed out on selection when the team was named recently.
Group Three players made up 11 places in the 24-woman squad to play in the 2019 Country Championship.
The team was finalised after selectors, Warren Gilkinson, Geoff Connor and Kylie Hilder viewed the inaugural Group Three/Group Two match played on Saturday at Kempsey. Group Two won 14-6.
The squad is: Nala Ballangarry (Group Two), Karley Barnett (Group Three), Lisa Bullivant (G3), Rachel Devine (G2), Alaya Donovan (G2), Jade Egar (G2), Chelsea Green (G3), Sarah Grofos (G3), Jayaka Hart (G2), Makayla Hoskins (G2), Jonty Hemmingway (G3), Lauren Linton (G2), Shellie Long (G2), Tina McRae (G2), Sarah O’Connor (G3), Nicole Pender (G3), Mishika Randall (G2), Zoie Shrewies (G2), Greta Smith (G2), Larissa Ward (G3), Jasmine Wilbow (G3), Karri Williams (G2), Countney Whitby (G3), Hannah Yates (G3).
