“It was great to see so many kids and their parents enjoy the start of the festive season and come together as a club,” Kempsey Crescent Head Nippers President Steve Pellen said.
“Our numbers have really grown again this year and it’s great to see kid’s skills and confidence increase from the start of this year.”
The Kempsey Crescent Head Nippers program is now on a summer break until Sunday January 27 but the club is not closed.
The club will be hosting its second annual New Year’s Eve event kicking off at 7pm.
Local DJ’s Lisa Farrawell and Just Matt will keep everyone dancing with finger food provided by the award winning Green Room crew.
“What better way for our community and guests to see out 2018 and welcome 2019 - with friends and family just metres from the sea,” Pellen said.
All proceeds from the event helps provide equipment for our Nippers.
Tickets are $50 for members and $60 for non-members, to secure yours please contact kchslscnippers@gmail.com or call Steve - 0408583955 or Alison on 0467869417.
The surf club will also be open for Friday Frothies and Sunday Sippers throughout the Christmas break. For more information head to www.crescentheadslsc.com.au.
