The recreational golfer had just accomplished what most hacks can only dream of, he had landed a hole-in-one.
However, Todd didn’t see the ball go in the hole and believed his mates were just stirring him up.
“I didn’t think the ball went in, I thought they were just having me on,” Todd told the Argus.
“They were congratulating me and shaking my hands but I still didn’t believe it had happened.”
Todd made the short walk from the tee-off to the green on hole three at the Kempsey Golf Club and finally began to celebrate when he picked his ball out of the hole.
“Once I saw it was in the hole I was very excited,” Todd said.
“It’s something I have always wanted to be able to achieve but I never thought I would be able to do it.
“I can tick that off the bucket list now.”
Todd’s luck didn’t end there, as the hole-in-one resulted in him winning $1,450 from Kempsey Cellarbrations. The jackpot had begun at $1,000 and rose $50 every month until someone landed a hole-in-one at the Kempsey Golf Club.

Todd plans on spending his winnings on his holiday to Tasmania with his wife in February.
Todd first began playing golf as a junior and the now 64-year-old had only ever came close to completing a hole-in-one on one other occasion.
Todd finished his round of golf and celebrated at the golf club with a couple of beers with his mates.
