The Kempsey Macleay RSL Club is in the festive spirit and is hoping the community will rally behind the ‘giving tree’ which they have put up in their club.

The giving tree encourages community members to place a gift (or as many as you’d like) under the tree and they will be donated to local children associated with Kempsey Women’s Refuge and the Kempsey PCYC.
People who wish to donate have until Thursday at 12pm to donate and then they will be delivered to the services to brighten up a child’s Christmas.
The idea is similar to the Kmart tree, but all the gifts at the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club will stay locally.
This is the second year the club has had the giving tree placed in their club and the first was a huge success.
