Tamika, who resides in Newcastle, travels to Crescent Head annually and was surprised to see the snake on the rocks.
“I noticed the snake while going for a ride on my bike,” Tamika said.
“Some people pointed it out to me and while I was standing there they also informed me that there was a brown snake in a similar spot a couple of days before.”
The 24-year-old has been holidaying at Crescent Head since she was three and has never spotted a snake in the area but knows of others who have.
Tamika was unsure of the size of the snake.
The discovery comes days after a large python was spotted on the Moruya breakwall.
