Showers are expected to commence on Wednesday October 10 with a 90 per cent chance of 5-10mm of rain.
Less is expected on Thursday and Friday with a 70 and 60 per cent chance, respectively, of 1-5mm of rain occurring.
The wet weather is set to increase over the weekend with an 80 per cent chance of 5-10mm of rain on Saturday, a 90 per cent chance of 10-20mm of rain on Sunday before there’s a 90 per cent chance of 5-10mm of rain on Monday.
The wet weather is welcomed by most as only 615mm of rain has fallen this year whereas the average amount of rainfall at this time is 932.9mm of rain, according to Weatherzone.
