Jayden cruised through the heats in the Under 7-9 65cc division and claimed the NSW title by winning the final by more than 50 bike lengths.
However, Jayden’s hard work in the heats for the 80 Modified division was for nothing as in the final he had a mechanical fault as his ignition broke down on the bike.
“He won all his heats and then in the final he went to take off out the gates and his ignition broke down on the bike,” Jayden’s uncle Dylan Holder said.
“But he dominated all his races and had quicker lap times than the older age group competing in the 65s Under 9-13.”
Jayden was glad to claim another prestigious title but he already has set his sights on conquering the older age group he becomes eligible for in three weeks.
Jayden, who has recently turned nine, will step up into the 65s Under 9-13 and the Under 9-11 on the 150cc for the Australian Junior Track Championship held on October 6 and 7 and he's embracing the challenge.
“Jayden can’t wait to race the older boys so he can show them what he’s got,” Dylan said.
“He's keen as to race the older age group so there's more competition and it can help him push more.”
It will be the first time Jayden competes in the divisions.
Jayden also claimed victory at the annual Casey Stoner Cup in two classes in March, despite returning from a broken arm.
Fellow Macleay District Motor Cycle Club juniors Taite Davis, Logan Davis and Jarred Loveday also competed at the state competition.
