Last week, a large downfall of rain was predicted but it didn’t live up to expectations as only 0.2mm of rain fell in Kempsey on Sunday.
However, the forecast for the next seven days is more promising.
There’s a 60 per cent chance 1 to 5mm of rain will fall today before the weather fines up tomorrow but then the rain starts to pick up again, according to Weatherzone.
Sunday has a 70 per cent chance of 1 to 5mm of rain.
Monday has a 90 per cent chance of 5 to 10mm of rain falling.
Tuesday there is a 80 per cent chance of 1 to 5mm of rain.
Wednesday has a forecast of 1 to 5mm of rain falling at an 80 per cent likelihood.
Thursday will cap off a great week of rain with a 90 per cent chance 5 to 10mm of rain falls.
All of NSW is currently in drought and the Macleay community has dug deep to help out the struggling farms across the state.
