The men travelled south to Kiama last weekend after winning the Zone Pennant last season.
The Grade Five Pennant team played off against all of the Zone winners from across NSW.
After five rounds played in blustery conditions, the South West Rocks side advanced to face off with Towradgi in the final.
In a tight contest, South West Rocks fell nine shots short.
It was a high quality match and the South West Rocks men were proud of their efforts.
The South West Rocks Country Club expressed their congratulations to the competitors.
The Trial Bay Bowls Classic at the South West Rocks Country Club commenced today and continues for the rest of the weekend.
The Grade Five Pennants team consisted of Wally Brooks, Greg Pearce, Brad Schubert, Ben Atterton, Garry Heggie, Des Pagett, Ben Crotty, Brett Thurgood, Geoff Hawes, Dave King, Gary Wooldridge, Phill Barnett, Barry Ellam and John Huckle.
