This will be the fourth such reunion hosted by the museum where the main focus is to preserve the history and artefacts of our local dairying industry.
The reunions provide a great opportunity for workers to meet with former colleagues and reminisce over old days. Farmers are also very welcome guests because of the major roles they played as suppliers to the various factories.
This year several female former factory workers will entertain the crowd with short stories and anecdotes of incidents that happened in their workplace.
Cundle Museum is in the process of collecting photos and stories relating to the cream/milk boats that plied our rivers for a book it is putting together. If anyone has a photo or interesting story to tell about the milk boats, they are asked to come along on the day where members will be copying photos and recording stories of interest.
Morning tea and a sausage sizzle lunch will be available for a small fee. Admission to the museum will be free, but donations are always welcome.
Michael and Jo Barlin from Kingston Creek Creamery will be doing an ice cream making demo using old style equipment at about 11.30am.
The museum has issued an invitation to all associated with the dairy Industry to come along on the day to meet with old friends, make a few new ones, and share your stories.
