Davies and Hurst were in the senior classes while Holder competed in the junior support races.
Sam Davies was the club’s highest award winner as he finished in second place in the Pro 250 class and he also made the final of the Pro Open event.
The achievement is a continuation of Davies’ good form shown at the NSW titles in July and puts him in a strong position heading into the Akubra Classic later this month at his home track.
“I wouldn’t be able to achieve the results I have so far this season if it wasn’t for the support I have received along the way. So massive thanks must go to everyone that made this possible including the O’Donnell family for allowing me to race Tyler’s FC250 in these recent championship meetings,” Davies said.
Alec Hurst finished the weekend with some strong results making the finals of both the Pro open and MX open Classes. Jayden Holder was the overall winner of the 65cc Under-7 to 9 junior support class.
A number of MDMCC Junior racers will be competing this coming weekend at the Australian Junior Dirt Track Championships at the Kurri Kurri Club in what will be the final day of the rain affected event that was originally set down for the June 9 and 10.
The club would like to wish our competing members Logan Davis, Jayden Holder, Jack Fritsch and Tate Davis the best of luck for the event.
