Crescent Head Public School continued their dominance in rugby league as they claimed victory in the Under-10s division at the NRL All Schools Carnival held at Port Macquarie yesterday.

Crescent Head were represented by an Open’s team and an Under-10s side, they were in the small schools section of the draw, playing schools like Beechwood, Laurieton, St Joseph’s, Kempsey and St Joseph’s, Wauchope.
The Under-10s side was made up of players from Year 3 to Year 5.
The team played four pool games. They won their first two matches convincingly before they went down to St Joseph’s Kempsey in their third match.
They entered their final pool game knowing they had to win to advance.
They side fought hard and won to progress to the final against St Joseph’s Kempsey.
Crescent Head were able to turn the tables on their crosstown rivals and earn the 20-8 victory to claim the title.
The opens team played well, but failed to progress to the finals.
The Crescent Head Under-10s side will now travel to the State NRL Carnival to be held in Penrith on August 8.
